Book it! We had an amazing experience at Zephyr. The rooms are adorable with all the amenities. They are centrally located to tons of walking distance activities and the local Lift bus. The gondola and alpine slides were fun and the restaurants were really good. The staff is absolutely amazing.
The place to stay in WP! Riverside building has better view of mountain. Plenty of places to eat there in village, but everything closes early 8-9 and earlier on Sundays! No private shuttles to get into town. Only 1 Uber dude there. They do have a general bus to take persons into town, but again its a general transit thing.
The personnel were very helpful and the location is spectacular for skiing. There was a lot of biking activity and there was easy access to hiking trails. The condos were well furnished so preparing meals was easy. The carpets should be replaced and the windows in my room could not be opened. Because the rooms are not air conditioned it got uncomfortably warm in the afternoon. I would have liked TV service. l had a good experience overall and would return. Good facility for the price.
We held our company holiday party their this year and it was a great family friendly place to stay and have a great time.
We've had many family vacations here during the summer. The views are gorgeous, there are nearby hikes, and the rates are reasonable. Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake are an easy hour drive away. There is a bike trail that runs from the resort down to Fraser. Jim Creek trail, just across Highway 40, is very nice. The rooms all have kitchens. Parking is free during the summer. The elevation is 9,200 feet, so you might feel a lack of oxygen for the first few days. There is a Safeway grocery store in nearby Fraser.
We had a wonderful stay at Zephyr Mountain Lodge! Our room was beautiful, very clean, and in the perfect location—right at the base and close to everything we needed. It was such a comfortable and convenient place to stay. One thing to note for future guests: this property seems to be made up of individually owned condos managed by a company, so it doesn’t operate quite like a traditional hotel. For example, check-in was done via a lockbox code sent to us, and the front desk didn’t have items like umbrellas available. That said, everything about our stay was smooth and enjoyable. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Zephyr Mountain Lodge to anyone visiting Winter Park!

I love this place, the best ski-in ski-out hotel in WP no doubt! If you book in advance the price becomes very reasonable.
